Yo Soy Ustedes (2013)

YO SOY USTEDES

It is a non-verbal physical theater erformance created and performed by
Raul “Nene” Vargas T.. The author-performer invites you to share his micro-world in which
in which the cyclical Latin American history is revealed as a merry-go-round where the amateur citizen rides his where the amateur citizen rides his horse next to the professional dictator.

“Nene” plays with both positions in his own carnival and grotesque
highlighting fundamental themes such as: power, love, double standards, the profane and the sacred.
The conflicts of Yo Soy Ustedes also open space for questioning: Where does the border of the other and the “I” begin? How do I live and identify myself with the other?
